Great opportunities for budding entrepreneurs

UniSA alumni are encouraged to apply for two valuable entrepreneurial prizes that are now open for expressions of interest — the longstanding Pank/ UniSA, School of Management Prize for Entrepreneurship and a new opportunity in the International Student Entrepreneurship Capital Pty Ltd Entrepreneurial Prize.
Pank/UniSA, School of Management Prize for Entrepreneurship
Applications for the $15,000 Prize for Entrepreneurship are now open. The prize is designed to assist the recipient to set up a new and innovative business in South Australia. The recipient will also receive mentoring support to the value of $15‚000 from UniSA staff, ITEK and School of Management Executive Partners.

Winner of the 2014 Prize for Entrepreneurship was South Australian policeman and Commerce graduate Senior Constable Tung Tran and his business partner Senior Constable Jerome Lienert. Tran has put the prize towards the development of their ‘myEvidence’ software which uses mobile technology to archive electronic evidence into a centralised desktop, allowing investigators to review their whole case on one screen at the touch of a button.

International Student Entrepreneurship Capital Pty Ltd Entrepreneurial Prize
This prize is designed to assist the recipient set up a new and innovative business in South Australia with links to the Chinese market. Applicants can nominate a business partner who is not a UniSA student or alumni member to assist with their application for the award.
