Venture Catalyst Round Now Open

Funding opportunity for early-stage ventures

UniSA is on the lookout for student and recent graduate start-up businesses which may be eligible for $50,000 in seed funding.

Venture Catalyst is a partnership between UniSA and the State Government designed to help UniSA students and recent graduates turn their business ideas into reality.

Last year the program awarded $100,000 in funding to two teams; Jemsoft - which provides an intelligent security system for retail premises, and myEvidence - which seeks to increase the efficiency of police work using technology.

Applications for Round 2 open Monday 2 February and close on Monday 30 March 2015.

This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates (graduates who completed their degree up to 12 months ago) to develop their entrepreneurial skills and make an impact in South Australia through new commercial ventures.
