- Student Diversity - Reaching all your students- In a nutshell - 5 minute overview
Higher education has undergone major changes over the last 10-15 years. One of those changes has been the broadening base of entry of higher education to the Australian population. Furthermore, demands by other countries for university education has seen large numbers of transnational students enrolling in Australian programs.
UniSA has been at the forefront of increased accessibility to higher education and, as with other universities, has seen the size of many classes increase. This has necessitated changes in teaching and learning strategies to manage the increased demands in a quality framework. Staff often seek advice about teaching and learning issues with large classes and the Teaching large classes project has developed a range of resources to assist with this.
