China Australia Millennial Project (CAMP) is a five day event in collaboration with the Vivid Sydney arts and ideas festival in June 2015. With backing from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Destination NSW, CAMP will bring 100 young innovators aged 18-35 from China, and match them with 100 bright young minds from across Australia for a five day innovation incubator commencing on 1 June 2015.

Federal Minister for Small Business, Bruce Billson, and NSW Premier Mike Baird said, “ The China Australia Millennial Project will give young entrepreneurs from both countries the opportunity to tackle issues and produce real outcomes through innovative thinking and collaboration with industry."

Delegates will organise around twenty think tanks corresponding to key issues for both countries in the coming decades: food security, the future of energy, ageing population, education and more.

CAMP organisers are looking for young innovators aged 18 to 35 who are original leaders in their sector. They are seeking a diverse range of applications from all over Australia, including from women, people of different ethnic backgrounds, and applicants with atypical profiles.

Scholarships are available to financially assist those working in non-profit organisations, as well as applications that satisfy selection criteria, to enable a unique mix of young leaders.

Successful applicants will be contacted early February and the 200 delegates will be announced on
19 February.

Applications for CAMP are now open through this link. Applications, including contact details of at least two referees, must be submitted by midnight on 23 January 2015.
