We asked Mark, if he had one piece of advice for alumni what would it be?
“A good cultural fit between you and your employer is essential to your success and happiness in the workplace. Think about and study the types of businesses that fit with your professional, aspirational and personal values and focus on those as your employers of choice. Countless studies have proven that well-being in the workplace comes more from a sense of connection than from tangible things like pay, conditions and even promotional opportunities. Some businesses have naturally good cultures, often a reflection of the business leaders, but no matter who you are and what you do in a business, promoting a good culture and focusing on the strengths and opportunities, is your role too.”
