We asked Ailsa, if he had one piece of advice for alumni what would it be?
“Focus, get involved, achieve. Doing your day job well is often not enough to get you where you want to be. Think about what motivates you, what your passions are, where you can make a difference to your team, your employer or to the community. Once you've found your focus, be proactive, take on additional responsibilities and get involved in that area. Then, talk about it. Be your own biggest fan. Not in a boastful way, but in a way that will let the people around you know who you are, what you are doing and what you have achieved. This will make you stand out and help you get where you want to be.”
