South Australian Business Index
Searching for our state’s top 100 companies
The UniSA Business School has partnered with Solstice Media, Prescott Securities, and the Adelaide Convention Centre, for the inaugural South Australian Business Index - a project to discover the best 100 companies in South Australia. The top-ranking companies will be announced at a lunch on 28 October.
To be eligible, a company has to be at least 50 per cent owned by South Australians or, for listed companies, they must have a head office in South Australia. The team is now in the process of gathering quantitative and qualitative information direct from companies and verifying it via a number of trusted methods, including publicly-published records.
The firm that tops the list will receive support and training from the Centre for Business Growth, valued at $22,000. The Centre for Business Growth is dedicated to helping small to medium sized businesses find the right strategies to grow, and has worked with 70 companies over the past year, both local and national.
The partnership also provides for student internships with Prescott Securities.
