Australian Alumni Short Film Festival 2010Celebrating the talents and achievements of Australian alumni in the Indonesian film industry, OZMate in conjunction with the University of South Australia were proud promoters of this outstanding event.
The festival was opened by Mira Lesmana and feature films from The Mo Brothers, Sigi Wimala, Wahyu Aditya and Andra Fembriarto amongst others. In conjunction a musical performance was given by Adrian Adioetomo.
OZMate held its Annual Australian Alumni Awards for 2010 in May. These awards were established to recognize outstanding talent, achievements and contributions made to Indonesia by Australian alumni living and working in Indonesia.
Nominations for these awards can be made by members of the general public in Indonesia and Australia as well as Alumni, industries and businesses. Nominations can be awarded to Alumni for a wide range of categories, so if you're one of our alumni who is living in and involved with Indonesia or know a University of South Australia alumni who is, then you may wish to consider putting in a nomination for OZMate's Annual Australian Alumni Awards 2011.
The Government of South Australia held a series of Dinners throughout Indonesia in the cities of Jakarta, Bandung, Jogjakarta and Surabaya. Dinner and drinks were provided as this family affair drew together alumni from all three of Adelaide's institutions for an opportunity to enjoy a meal, network and relive old times.
