| The AnTEP program has three stages, each consisting
of 12x3 point courses, totalling 36 points per stage. An Advanced Certificate in
Education (Anangu Education) is awarded after Stage 1, and the Diploma in Education
(Anangu Education) after Stage 2. A Bachelor of Teaching (Anangu
Education) is awarded on the completion of Stage 3.
Students normally complete the 3 stages of the program within three to six years, depending on whether study is undertaken on a part-time or full-time basis. Part-time students are often already employed within local schools as AEW's. Each course generally comprises 3 modules. A third of the modules are offered as intensive week-long workshops, while the remainder are course work, or teaching experience modules conducted in the classroom. Each stage has five curriculum strands:
