Enrolling and Uni orientation
How do I enrol?
You will be sent information about enrolment when you accept your offer. Students at UniSA enrol online.
During January and February there are a series of Enrolment Advice Sessions to provide an overview of your program, let you know which courses to choose for study period 1 (semester one) and study period 5 (semester two) and give you an opportunity to meet staff and students. It is important that you attend your Enrolment Advice Session before you try to enrol.
Enrolments open from 30 January 2012 for undergraduate degrees, see the New Students website for more information.
When is orientation?
Orientation begins on 20 February 2012. More information about your orientation will be included in your UniSA Offer Letter and Welcome Package.
When does the university year commence?
The first week of lectures for Semester 1 (Study Period 2) begins on 27 February 2012. See UniSA’s 2012 academic year calendar for more Study Period, Study Break and exam period dates throughout the year.
How many hours a week will I be at uni?
As a general rule students can expect to study between 3 and 5 contact hours per subject, per week. For each hour spent on campus it is expected students complete 2 hours of their own study time to keep up with the course work.
Where can I view my timetable?
Timetables can be viewed via UniSA's program pages, and click on the content link. On this page there will be a program outline which lists the subjects that will be studied each year in the program. Click on the subjects to see more detailed information and the timetables. Once you are a current student with UniSA you will be provided with a username and password with which you can gain access to your own student portal called MyUniSA. Through this portal you will complete your enrolment, have access to your student email account, contact student services and access your fee information. Campus Central can assist you with enrolment.
