Offers

When do SATAC offers come out?

The main offer round is on 18 January 2012 and there is a final round of offers on 7 February 2012.

I’m planning to be away during January and/or February. How do I find out if I have been offered one of my preferences?

SATAC will officially notify you of your university offer by posting it to your mailing address. However if you are away during this time of offers, you can find out whether you have been made an offer on UniWeb. These offers will be available online no later than 6.00pm on the offer date.

To check your offer online through UniWeb, go to www.satac.edu.au, click on the blue ‘uni’ button, then on ‘Undergraduate Admissions, Semester 1 2012’, then select ‘services for current applicants’. Here you will be able to check/change your preferences, check your offers and respond to that offer.

What do I do after I get an offer?

You must respond to your offer using SATAC's UniWeb by the lapse date shown on your offer letter. To respond to your offer on SATAC’s UniWeb, go to www.satac.edu.au click on the blue ‘uni’ button, then on ‘Undergraduate Admissions, Semester 1 2012’, then select ‘services for current applicants’. There are six different ways in which you can respond to an offer. Page 58 of the SATAC guide provides details of the various types of responses or alternatively you can view the information on SATAC UniWeb and respond to your offer via the internet. Your reference number and password are required. Detailed information will be provided with your offer.

I did not get an offer? What can I do?

Some programs may still have places available after the January round of offers. You may receive an offer into one of your preferenced programs in the February round. Refer to page 57 of your SATAC guide in relation to adding or shuffling preferences at this time.
