SACE and Tertiary Entrance Statement

Where can I find my SACE results?

Your SACE results are on a certificate headed ‘Record of Achievement’. For questions about your SACE results please contact SACE Board of SA on 8373 0599 or 1800 652 230 (Freecall for country students during the period of the results release).

Your SACE results can be accessed by logging into Students Online using your SACE registration number and PIN on the morning of results release via the SACE website. Once you have logged into Students Online, click on the SACE results link to view your results. Here you will find a list of the subjects you completed and the result for each.

You can also access your Tertiary Entrance Statement from the Students Online homepage by clicking on ‘Accessing your Tertiary Entrance Statement’.

You will also receive your SACE results in the mail in two envelopes. One will be from the SACE board containing your Record of Achievement and South Australian Certificate of Education (provided you met all the requirements), and one from SATAC containing your Tertiary Entrance Statement (provided you are eligible to receive one).

What is the Tertiary Entrance Statement?

You will receive a 'Tertiary Entrance Statement' if you have gained your SACE and are eligible to apply for university or TAFE. The Tertiary Entrance Statement has information about university entrance including your Tertiary Entrance Points, University Aggregate and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

What are tertiary entrance points?

These are sometimes referred to as your scaled scores. Each is a score out of 20. A scaling procedure is used to calculate your tertiary entrance points for each Stage 2 subject. For example, for a Stage 2 subject you may have a SACE score of 13 and tertiary entrance points of 10.5.
