Study Architecture

What is architecture in the School of Art, Architecture and Design? 'Architecture is one of the most influential professions in our global society. It influences the way in which the built environment is planned, designed, made, used and maintained. Architecture brings together the arts, environmental awareness, sciences and technology.'¹ Theory and practice are integrated through the art and craft of construction.

The University of South Australia offers Australia's most recognised and comprehensive 'design and build' architecture program and workshop studios to support it. You'll get your inspiration on-site: students are based in UniSA's award-winning Kaurna Building - 2006 the Sir Zelman Cowan Award (Australia's highest accolade for public building) and 2008 the Innovation and Excellence Award for Public Buildings
