Building identity and exhibition
310 Hurtle at Mawson Lakes seeks to demonstrate principles of ecologically sustainable development through two main approaches. The building should:
- exhibit current and future applications of sustainable approaches and technologies in respect of the built environment
- house an engaging and relevant narrative environment of sustainable and healthy lifestyles with transferable commercial and domestic applications.
The project team sought to demonstrate these approaches through reconsidering the broad notion of sustainability under two key themes which lead to a more aspirational objective of thrivability - living systems and responsive environments
