Architectural Design Studio
7 (Environment) focuses on the
environmental, cultural, ethical and economic issues in
designing for ecological responsibility. Students
apply theoretical and technical issues,
investigating passive and
active ecodesign strategies and alternate technologies with the
support of environmental consultant engineers.
Design focuses on community-based
projects where students
consult with stakeholders to develop an architectural
brief prior to developing design
proposals. These projects are promoted
to the broader community and funding agencies
via exhibitions.
