Donations and bequests
The Architecture Museum is self-funded. Any support from the public or an institution is greatly appreciated. Students and researchers also benefit from Architecture Museum benefactors
The Architecture Museum accepts items relevant to the work of South Australian-based architects and related professionals and in accord with its Collection Policy. Donations may include:
- project drawings and accompanying documentation
- notebooks and scrapbooks
- journals or trade catalogues.
Items are stored in archival conditions. They cannot be borrowed but may be loaned for the purpose of exhibition to an approved event, institution or agency.
Donors are encouraged to make a financial contribution towards the cost of accessioning, storing and conserving their collection.

A bequest is a gift or legacy left in a Will. The Architecture Museum accepts bequests to assist with ongoing maintenance, promotion and expansion of its collection. Contributing through a bequest allows you to retain full use of your assets during your lifetime and still make a significant gift.
