Artist statementMy work has its conceptual basis in the physicality of the practice of throwing on a potters wheel and how the act of making can affect and create artwork. The act of making has been an inspiration for my work as much as it is the space in which art objects are made. By creating a 'theory of practice' in my work I would like to contemplate the curative and reflective aspects of making and how this physical act can alter perceptions of art and life alike.
