Artist statement
An idea would not come from nowhere. There are many aspects that influence people's thinking and their creativities in art works. From a personal point of view, the boredom of daily routine, banalities of everyday life indulge my imagination. Life is mundane, frequently banal, but it never fails to surprise or shock. Banal life and everyday object convey many stories and meaning. Seeing these day-to-day activities are like watching a theatrical of reality, contain people feeling, conversation, people obsession of objects, common places, familiar things from the surrounding and many other issues.
In this project I am trying to find a visual equivalent to the experience of seeing people's interaction and through an observation of physical gesture. Every movement, every pose of each individual part of body contains hidden sign, information and meaning. There is an unseen connection, the invisible conversation between people. Human gesture is a dialogue of silent language, delivering message without words or sound.
Text is an image. I want to deconstruct people perception toward text and words. Creating overlapping repetition words that illegible as a pattern, as the unnoticed dialog. Words that inject varied emotions into the artwork.
