Artist statement
After finishing a four year Bachelor of Industrial Design Degree with Honours from the University of South Australia in 2005 I went on to work in the industry as a Designer, Project Manager and Technical Illustrator. Even though it was shaping up to be a very rewarding career I felt that I would never reach my full potential in such roles and that is why I have chosen to further explore my creative abilities with the South Australian School of Art.
For as long as I can remember I have had the ability to draw everything and anything from life and from fantasy. Utilising my knowledge and experience gained thus far from the design industry as well as the resources of the University I will look to expand my thinking and really grow my abilities in concept development through illustrations of characters and environments for use in video games and animated movies.
