Awards 2010
Earlier this year, twenty-five Australian and New Zealand tertiary institutes nominated their top three students who reflect design excellence and adopt innovative Sustainable Design principles in each of the nine discipline categories. Bachelor of Design (Honours) (Visual Communication) student Aaron Harvey, has taken out first prize in the Visual Design category. Aaron's winning design is the 'DIY Poster Pack' that uses notions of interactivity and re-use to promote the importance of recycling to creative industries. The pack is mailed to studios, where templates are provided to create one of a series of posters, created from office waste, centering on the theme 'design impacts'.
See the work featured on the Icograda website.
