Bachelor of Interior Architecture
I've always been passionate about design so the decision to go into interior architecture was an easy one.
I chose UniSA because I liked the strong practical focus of the program, with a balance between creative and pragmatic courses.
I completed work experience at two firms - a local firm that dealt with small to medium jobs, and an international firm that dealt with medium to large jobs.
Undertaking work experience in firms that vary in size gives you the opportunity to evaluate the kind of designer you want to become and understand what will be expected of you as a graduate.
Work experience gave me the chance to really immerse myself in design and gain an understanding of the utilisation of spaces that we learn about.
