Wearable medicines for homesickness and Australian memories2 shelves: 71 x 50 x 12 cm (each) My work focuses on things that make me homesick and those cultural and family experiences back in China that I cannot access while in Australia. I have designed some wearable medicines that are portable and that I can take with me whenever I get homesick. I have used the form of the Chinese character and English word for home to shape traditional Chinese furniture on which to display my wearable medicines. The Chinese objects go in the English word showcase and the Indigenous Australian materials used to capture my Australian memories are displayed in the Chinese character showcase.
