Sustainability will be big business in the future, whether it relates to
carbon emissions or energy efficiency. Getting a solid grounding in this
area will enhance my career prospects in the future.
After working in Asia for several years I could start to see a gradual shift
in people's attitudes towards sustainability. I wanted to make sure I was
well positioned to capitalise on this emerging trend.
UniSA's multidisciplinary approach to the Master of Sustainable Design
appealed to me, and I have found the staff to be knowledgeable and competent
in the teaching of sustainability in design and related issues. The staff
are also flexible to work around external commitments to ensure smooth
progression of studies.
Having worked for several years in an industry with many pressures and
deadlines it was good to get back to the free and creative frame of mind
that accompanies university life.
I feel my "creative batteries" have been recharged!
