AGIdeas is held annually in Melbourne attracting over 3000 design students, academics and professionals internationally. The aim of AGIdeas is 'to inspire excellence by presenting the insights and experiences from some of the world's leaders, those who have pushed the boundaries of design and established a benchmark to which designers must strive.' UniSA Visual Communication Design students have a history of success in this competition. The winning prize is a travel scholarship to Fabrica (Fab), Benetton's communication research centre, Italy.

Spencer was awarded both the Colley Trust Award and Fabrica scholarship. The Fabrica scholarship has been awarded at agIdeas eight times, and this makes the sixth awarded to a UniSA Visual Communication Design undergraduate. The 12-month scholarship is undertaken at Fabrica, Benetton's communication research centre, based in Treviso, Italy.
Brianna was awarded both the Newstar award and Fabrica scholarship.
