Visual Communication Design Honours students were engaged in a collaborative project to design the foyer interior of the Northern Sound System, a community music centre for music and performing arts skills training in the northern suburbs. The students worked step-by-step with supervisor Veronika Kelly in collaboration with local community representatives, the City of Playford and Shannon Architects to design more than thirty separate graphic panels and the navigational signage system. The project was funded by the Playford-Salisbury Commonwealth Government Sustainable Regions Program.
