ANZIBA 2012 RESEARCH STUDENTS' COLLOQUIUM
The daylong ANZIBA Research Students' Colloquium (RSC), sponsored
by the Business School, University of Adelaide, is an intensive
workshop intended for research students who are working on theses in
the broad area of International Business. The purpose of the
colloquium is to assist students in exploring the processes of
conducting research and writing, and the art of navigating the world
of academic publishing, with the support of experienced scholars.
The colloquium also provides a friendly and supportive opportunity
for students to hone their presentation skills, while networking
with other research students and experienced academics.
Students attending the ANZIBA RSC have the opportunity to improve
their understanding of research issues in the field of International
Business, along with available methodologies, thereby enhancing
their research competence. In addition, students gain valuable
insights into the process of submitting their work for publication
in refereed journals and other academic publications.
The assembled scholars and students will review research proposals,
consider relevant literature and research strategies, and discuss
the International Business academic environment.
Participation in the ANZIBA RSC is limited; interested students
should apply by submitting the following:
- A statement of interest
- A research proposal or work-in-progress statement of no more than 10 pages (double-spaced, A4 paper), including title, background, research question and proposed methodology
- A current curriculum vitae
- A recommendation from the current or potential research supervisor.
The submission deadline for the 2012 ANZIBA RSC is Monday, 5th March 2012. Earlier submissions will be appreciated, and acceptance made on a rolling basis.
