Library and Information Management (L&IM)

  Collecting and managing information is increasingly vital in all areas of modern life: from small businesses and multinational organisations, to schools, universities, libraries and museums. 

The need for a new type of information manager has emerged! Among the many professions that deal with information are:

  • record managers

  • archivists

  • librarians, and

  • information officers

To make the programs even more exciting some of courses and lectures are conducted by industry based lecturers who can bring real-world experiences to your studies at the same time using some of the latest technologies that can be provided by the three funding partners:

The Library and Information Management programs have been designed for students to undertake the programs anywhere in the world, as long as you can connect to the internet. All courses will be available totally online, part-time or full-time depending on your circumstances.  The choice is yours!

The programs provide a continuing path of learning from the Graduate Certificate in Library and Information Management through to a Masters qualification in Library and Information Management.  If you wish to continue your career even further there is now the opportunity that you could be eligible to apply for entry into the new and specifically designed Doctor of Information Technology Management.
