Manually mapping a network drive on Windows 7

Mapping a network drive from work

If you are experiencing problems and you do not receive automatic mappings, please contact the IT Helpdesk and log a service request for BUE-IT to assist you.

  1. Log into the UniSA network
  2. Click on Start button
  3. Click on Computer

  1. In the window that opens up, click Map network drive

  1. Select the relevant drive letter (for your School or Unit)
  2. Enter the correct folder path (for your School or Unit)
  3. Ensure Reconnect at logon is ticked
  4. Click Finish

Note: You will need to perform the above steps for each network drive that you would like mapped but the connections should remain present each time you logon.

Mapping a network drive from home

  1. Connect to the network either wirelessly or via broadband
  2. Connect the Cisco VPN client (this file is pre-configured and only needs to be installed - download file)
  3. Once connected you can manually map the network drives using the instructions above.
