Create a new Outlook message

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Go to File menu
  3. Select New
  4. Select Mail Message Hint: Shortcut key to compose a new e-mail message is Ctrl + N
  5. Compose Message

  6. To access the UniSA Global Address List (GAL), click on the To... button
  7. Select the recipient or distribution list from the list
  8. Click on the To-> button to add the selected item. If you are adding multiple addesses, repeat steps 6 and 7. You can also add addresses from your personal Contact List under the Address Book circled below.
  9. Click on OK button Send message

  10. Check addresses are correct
  11. Enter a subject for the e-mail in the Subject field
  12. Enter the content in the email body. (Note: Keep in mind the University's e-mail policies)
  13. Click on the Send button Compose Message
