Professor David Hatherly

- During his stay Professor Hatherly was a visiting Professor
under the CAGS Research Performance Panel (RPP) membership scheme
whereby high calibre international and domestic academics are
invited to visit CAGS. Importantly, Professor Hatherly will be
giving a seminar on the future of accounting educatuin research
(12/10/10) and an expert seminar on his research (19/10/10).
- Professor Hatherly also:
1) Mentored research students and staff and discussing their
projects - by meeting with them regularly during the visit,

Many visitors were repeat visits due to the extreme benefit received
from David’s kind and attentive motivation on their research and
writing.
2) Review journal articles and/or conference papers with staff and
research students to provide feedback and guidance to improve the
potential for publishing;
3) Provide feedback on grant applications and/or participation in
new grant initiatives;
4) Speak with academics about potential research projects and
articles; and
5) Discuss opportunities for publishing with the CAGS's academic
journals
