Professor Sue Llewellyn

- Professor Llewellyn was also a visiting Professor under the CAGS
Research Performance Panel (RPP) membership scheme whereby high
calibre international and domestic academics are invited to visit
CAGS to:
• Mentor research students and discussing their projects - by
meeting with them regularly during the visit. Sue met with Jenny
Chen, Lyn Daff (external student flew over from rural NSW), and
Amanda Carter to contribute to their PhD thinking and development.
• Review journal articles and/or conference papers with staff and
research students to provide feedback and guidance to improve the
potential for publishing. Sue met with Dr Basil Tucker to discuss a
paper and also furthered opportunities with Professor Lee Parker.
• Speak with academics about potential research projects and
articles. Sue met individually with Professor Lee Parker, Susan
Lambert and Dr Sumit Lodhia to discuss publishing opportunities.
• Importantly, Professor Llewellyn contributed invaluable benefit to
CAGS by co-hosting the 2010 Annual Qualitative Research Colloquium
at UniSA on the 15th and 16th of September (see section 1.4.2). The
3rd annual Colloquium in Qualitative Research in Business is an
intensive colloquium for academics and postgraduate students in the
business and commerce-related disciplines will combine presentations
from two experienced qualitative researchers (Sue and Professor Lee
Parker) with interactive forums covering a range of methodological
issues and research methods.
