How can I apply for an internal transfer?
Return to: Campus Central FAQ Home > Internal transfers
Current students who have studied for at least one study period may be eligible to transfer into another program.
If you would like to transfer to the Business Double Degree, see question:
I am interested in transferring to the Business Double DegreeFor programs in the Division of Health Sciences, internal transfers are not possible. New applications must be made through SATAC for domestic students and UniSA International for international students
For all other programs, you will need to complete the Internal transfer between programs form and submit this to campus central.
The approval process varies between the four Divisions and between programs so lodgement of the form does not guarantee acceptance into the new program. Positions are usually filled in a first-come first-served basis so it is best to apply as early as possible however forms must be lodged no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of the relevant study period. Applications lodged after this date will be held for processing in the next relevant study period.
Application Outcome
Timelines for transfer approvals also varies between Division however all applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome in time to enrol and start the new program. You will have to approve the final transfer details before they become effective. You will then be activated in the new degree and your current degree will become inactive.
