Community-based

Magill Campus and Community Children's Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based childcare centre.

All incoming monies are used to provide and maintain a safe and caring learning environment for your child.

The MC&CCC meets the licensing and funding requirements of the Children's Services Office and other relevant state and federal government departments. Support is also provided by the University of South Australia through building and maintenance upkeep.

Established in 1975, the centre has grown into a high quality long day care centre used by both the university and the general community.

Responsive to the needs of children

• The program offers choice and many opportunities for the children to play and learn, to respond and interact, to explore, discover and grow and to practice skills independently in a safe, caring and educational environment.
• The menu provides for variety, colour, texture and taste, and is culturally diverse
• The relaxed, unhurried atmosphere helps children and their parents feel comfortable and valued.

Settings

• Garden Room: 3 months to 2 years (approx)
• Ocean Room: 2 years to 5 years (approx)
• Rainforest Room: 2 years to 5 years (approx)

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm

Sessions:

• Morning: 8.00am to 1.00pm
• Afternoon: 1.00pm to 6.00pm
• Full day:  8.00am to 6.00pm
