In October 2015, a $70 million redevelopment of the West End Brewery was completed so we’re excited that our doors have re-opened and we welcome students who want to explore their career pathways in the manufacturing industry. ProjectABLE is a response to the expected 70,000 new jobs that will be created in the disability and care sector by 2019 as a result of the full roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Through this interactive workshop, led by people with disability, projectABLE inspires students to apply their passions, skills and abilities to enrich their lives and the lives of others by pursuing a rewarding career in the disability and community service sectors.

Our presenters talk honestly and openly about their disability and are selected based on their ability to connect with students. It is this connection, coupled with honesty and humour that enables students to learn about life with a disability, the importance of social inclusion and what they can do to make a difference.
