Decision making
Making decisions about what your future might hold after finishing university is important. Students who have a direction in mind say that they are more motivated to study. They can also organise their job search more effectively because they know how and where to focus their efforts. Of course, it can be difficult to make a decision with so many options to choose from. The earlier you start thinking through your options, the more time you will have to make your decisions.
Feel reassured that you are not making one big decision. You are aiming to decide what to do next, NOT what to do for the rest of your life. Over your lifetime, the workplace will change, as will you. Always remember that your future is flexible. Making a good career decision means thinking about yourself, your options and then understanding effective decision making techniques.
