Sessions where they can take a closer look at any
program of their choice. Students can register to
visit the actual campus where they'll study, check
out the facilities and ask questions to help make an

The Sundance Kids perform exclusive private concert

Adelaide band The Sundance Kids are coming home from
their national tour with The All American Rejects
and Hoobastank to perform an exclusive private
concert for CareerShop members on September 28 at UniSA's City West campus.
Find out how your students can win one of 70 double
passes to see the band live, a copy of their hit single Solutions and the chance to interview the band
on the day.

Attend UniSA's Network Now on 8 October

Your
Year 12s have the exclusive opportunity to attend one of
SA's largest networking events - FOR FREE. They will be
able to meet the biggest names in the SA community and
find out how they achieved their career goals. To enter,
your students
need to take a look at the list of 100+ inspiring
people attending and tell us who they would like to
meet and why. This opportunity is limited to only 5
lucky CareerShop members, so make sure your
students get in quick! Winners can bring their parent,
guardian or teacher along too.

Your Career Counsellor Portal provides you with all
the essential resources, information, news and
events to help you answer those challenging career
questions. Now you can also find out more about
scholarships that your students may be eligible to
apply for.
Finding scholarships is an important and often
time consuming part of your student's career and uni
research. To help you advise your students, the
Career Counsellor Portal has featured a bunch of
scholarships and scholarship winners relevant to
specific career areas of interest.

High Achiever School Leaver Scholarships

The
Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment at UniSA is
encouraging more young people to undertake careers in science, engineering and
technology.
Our new High Achiever Scholarships are aimed at encouraging our brightest and
most talented school leavers to undertake Bachelor Degrees in the innovative
teaching, learning and research environment at the Mawson Lakes Campus. This
will lead to careers in a wide range of Industries engaged in science,
engineering and technology research, development and manufacturing.

ATN Test for Information Technology

The ATN Test is a unique and innovative assessment
test of a prospective student's aptitude and
capability to undertake IT or engineering studies.
Satisfactory completion of the ATN Test allows
direct entry into the Associate Degree in
Information Technology, an entry point into any of
the School's Bachelor programs. This is a great
alternative pathway for students who may not have
the traditional Year 12 maths and science
background, or the TER required for entry into an
IT Bachelor program.
The test will be held on September 12 2009
in GK2-10, GK2-12 and GK2-15, George Kingston
Building, City West Campus. Students need
to register on the ACER
website.

Gap Experience Program

The UniSA Gap Experience program is a unique and
innovative gap year option, offering future students
who have deferred their place at uni the chance to
travel overseas, and gain invaluable work experience
in a developing country.
Your students will have the opportunity to work in a
plethora of fields in a range of different countries and
even receive credit and a travel grant once they've
completed the program.
