Welcome to the first UniSA Links portal update for 2011.This year, we're aiming to establish connections between key subject teachers and UniSA academics to bring your school exclusive invitations, opportunities and teaching resources.

We're also excited to announce a new suite of UniSA presentation offerings tailored to different year levels and career interest areas for your students. Plus, in the coming months you'll notice a revamped portal with a fresh new look - whilst still keeping you up to date with the latest news, events, careers and admissions advice.

Exclusive teaching resources & opportunities for subject teachers

We're aiming to link subject teachers with UniSA academic staff to provide your school with exclusive information including professional development opportunities, student collaboration projects, industry liaison and curriculum support as well as invites to networking events and industry speaker presentations.

Past offerings have included the Maths and Science Directory, invitations to UniSA graduate exhibitions and Masterclass workshops. Currently, Art & Design teachers can download teaching resources as part of the Stop(the)Gap exhibition at the Samstag Museum of Art; a major international Indigenous moving image project, developed for the 2011 BigPond Adelaide Film Festival.

To take advantage of these exclusive opportunities, forward this email on to your subject teachers so they can update their details. We are initially looking for teachers in the areas of Law, Business, Art & Design, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Science, Psychology and Geography.

Unique to UniSA, our recently updated Year 10 CareerShop Program now includes the much anticipated MyCareerMatch; an online career profiling tool that increases students' self-awareness and delivers personalised career reports to help them make more informed career choices. This year you'll also have the opportunity to tailor the year 11 and 12 presentations to your students' interest areas.
