Ecological risk assessment
This program aims to develop new knowledge to underpin the science
and practice of ecological risk assessment to assist in protection of
the environment.
This includes:

developing innovative assessment and monitoring tools

measuring and reducing uncertainty with regard to bioavailability and toxicology, and
-
advancing the understanding of life cycle of contaminants in the environment.
The application of such research is essential to defining ecological
risk assessment.
