The Narratives of War Research Group holds a biennial seminar as a showcase for the group's research. The seminar is open to all interested members of the community because NOW recognises the interests of many members of the public in the narratives of war and peace.
 

Narratives of War Seminar 2011

The 2011 seminar will be held on 29 and 30 September 2011 at the Magill Campus of the University of South Australia.
The theme for the seminar will be Legacies of War. Speakers at the seminar include:
 
  • Peter Burness, Senior Curator, Australian War Memorial
  • Associate Professor Susan Neuhaus CSC
  • Andrew Faulkner, journalist and biographer of Arthur Blackburn, VC.
  • Professor Jen Webb, University of Canberra
  • John White, Australian War Memorial, Canberra
  • Professor Bruce Scates, Monash University
NOW researchers will present papers on a range of topics concerning the legacies of war. A full program will be available in July.
