Counselling services information for staff
The Counselling Service in the Learning and Teaching Unit works collaboratively with academic and professional staff to attain positive outcomes for both staff and students.
In addition to providing some online information for staff to assist students who may be distressed or behaving in challenging ways, staff are able to consult with a counsellor in relation to any student concerns they have. Alternatively staff can refer students directly to the Counselling Service.
If a student is experiencing a crisis, an urgent appointment can be arranged with the reception staff in the Learning and Teaching Unit on campus. For any out of hours crisis or urgent international student issues, please contact Campus Security.
