| Ilke Onur joined the School of Commerce
in 2010 as a Lecturer in Economics. He
earned his PhD in Economics from the
University of Texas, Austin in 2005 for his
thesis 'Essays on Internet auctions'. Prior
to his current position, Ilke was employed
at University of New South Wales in Sydney
as a Visiting Lecturer and at TOBB
University of Economics and Technology in
Ankara, Turkey as an Assistant Professor.
His general field of research is applied
microeconomics with special focus on
industrial organisation, auctions, economics
of information systems and electronic
commerce. At UniSA Ilke teaches Forecasting
and Business Analysis and Competitive
Strategy. Ilke's experience includes presenting seminars in universities and conferences around the world, as well as refereeing duties for international journals. He secured a grant in 2006 from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey to study electronic commerce. |
