Enrolment and orientation advice

Here to HelpWelcome to the David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education and Research (DUCIER) and Research.

Orientation

Mid Year Orientation for undergraduate programs in the Unaipon School will be advertised soon. New post graduate students will be contacted separately.

Orientation activities introduce you to campus life, to people, to new ways of teaching and learning and to the multitude of resources and support available at the University of South Australia.

It is highly recommended that you attend the orientation activities for your program, so if you are studying a double degree with Education, you should attend Orientation for both the Unaipon School and the School of Education.

Enrolment

If you are student enrolling in the Bachelor of Arts (Indigenous Cultures and Australian Society) or a double degree with Australian Studies or Aboriginal Studies and Education, Enrolment Advice Tables will soon be available.

This information shows you clearly what courses you should enrol in and in which Study Period. Once you know which courses to enrol in, you can then visit the New students website which provides a Step by Step  Guide to enrolment. Remember that you can start enrolling online as soon as you have accepted your offer - you don't have to wait for Orientation Day to come around.

Welcome areas

Once you arrive on campus for Orientation, there will be a Welcome area in Yungondi Building. The Welcome area is a great place to meet U-Buddies (students already studying at UniSA) who can assist you with your queries in a relaxed, informal atmosphere about life at UniSA, enrolment, or to find accommodation.

In addition, the Welcome Area at City West will be open with an extended service during the first two weeks of teaching (details coming later) where a U-Buddy will be able to assist you with your questions about:
