Welcome to the Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences Research Education pages. The Division consists of four schools with candidates undertaking exciting and innovative research in areas such as Art, Architecture, Communication, Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy, Indigenous and Australian studies, International studies and Education. Many candidates are also active members of one or more of the research concentrations within the Division. This site provides links to information you may require as a prospective candidate, current candidate or supervisor and will keep you up to date on events and programs that may be of interest to you.
Associate Professor Christine Garnaut is the Associate Dean: Research Education in the Division and has overall responsibility for over 300 Higher Degree by Research candidates. Christine also works closely with the Research Degree Coordinators and Associate Heads of School: Research in each School to develop supervision capacity.
