The Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences invites all Higher Degree by Research students, Honours students and research staff to attend the 2009 Research Autumn School.
This important research event will provide you with an opportunity to attend sessions conducted by a range of experienced researchers and research staff from diverse fields who will be supporting you in developing skills and exploring ideas and issues across a range of research paradigms. There will also be opportunities for professional conversations, sharing and socialising.
For the first time, we are also pleased to be able to offer a number of sessions which many Early Career Researchers may find extremely useful with tips on successful grant writing and ways to attract external partners.
In addition to the above sessions, we are very pleased to be able to offer the workshop 'Turbocharge your Writing' by Maria Gardiner and Hugh Kearns from the ThinkWell Research Program. This award winning program has proven extremely popular and is a highly engaging way to achieve long term results for researchers at any stage of their career who wish to increase their writing output.
We hope you can come along for some stimulating, engaging and enjoyable interactions designed to provide learning opportunities while building our research culture.
Lunch will be provided on both days as well as refreshments at the networking session on Friday.
