Criminal History Clearance
STUDENTS ATTENDING A PLACEMENT INTERSTATE
This includes students living in SA who will be undertaking a professional experience placement or any other professional experience activity interstate & students living outside of South Australia undertaking a professional experience placement or any other professional experience activity that is also outside of South Australia.
1. In the first instance, students undertaking a professional experience placement or any other professional experience activity in an interstate educational site need to adhere to the clearance requirements of the organisation where they will be undertaking their placement. If the placement provider does not require you to have clearance and you will be working with minors, please follow the clearance process for Students attending a placement in South Australia.
2. UniSA recommends that students approach the organisation in which they have been given a placement at least 6 weeks prior to their first visit date as to the appropriate documentation they require. Please advise the Criminal History Screening Officer at the School of Education of the process you must undertake from your placement organisation giving you clearance.
3. Please forward the following documentation to support your clearance:
ü certified copies of any documentation you obtain (including certified copies of any
correspondence giving you clearance) to the School of Education UniSA.
DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTSü a completed University Consent Form.
