Development of Design Technologies for Industrial Application of Energy
Efficient Electromagnetic Power Devices, Project in collaboration with
Okayama University, Japan, 1997-
Core losses in electromagnetic power devices constitute a major loss
component in electrical power systems and have a negative economic and
environmental impacts on national economies.
The project addresses the issue by application of novel energy saving
materials for magnetic cores of electromagnetic devices which brings
tangible monetary and environmental benefits.
The project supported by a Collaborative Research Grant from the Japanese
Ministry of Education 1997-98. Mutual visits took place.
