Experience Plus Grants

Got bright idea?....Don't take it for granted.

Apply now for an Experience Plus Grant and you could get up to $5000 to go towards eligible initiatives! These grants will enable students or staff to apply for funds to assist in developing initiatives that contribute to the overall student experience here at UniSA. Find out about some of the recent great E+ Grant Initiatives.

Eligibility

Experience Plus Grants are available to UniSA students or staff who are enrolled/employed part-time or full-time at the time of application (including external students). Applications must be based on activities that focus on student engagement and participation. Eligible activities may range from small student-driven social activities through to larger staff-organised or division-based events.

Experience Plus Grants

Experience Plus Grants will be open at all times. Assessment of grants will occur biannually in May and October with payments made in June and January of each year.

Student Engagement Grants (Student Led)

To provide student clubs, groups or individuals with assistance in the delivery of initiatives that will enhance campus vibrancy and student engagement with UniSA.

Maximum Grant Amount - $5000

Student Engagement Grant (Staff Led)

To provide staff from the Divisions, Schools and Units of UniSA with assistance in the delivery of student focused initiatives on or off campus that will enhance campus vibrancy and student engagement with UniSA.

Maximum Grant Amount - $2500

Employability Grants

To provide students of staff with assistance to deliver initiatives that will enhance the employability and career prospects for defined student groups.

Maximum Grant Amount - $2000

Creative and Performing Arts Grants

To provide student and staff with assistance to create more on-campus vibrancy through artistic and creative initiatives. Examples may include murals, art displays, public performances and movie screenings.

Maximum Grant Amount - $5000

Other Grants

For any grant initiatives that do not fall within the other categories, but are considered by the Deputy Director: Student Experience to be SSAF compliant and important initiatives for the students of UniSA.

UniSA Sport Grants

Grants provided by UniSA Sport for student sporting and recreational clubs. UniSA Sport Grants will be open at all times with assessments occurring at the end of each month. Clubs may only apply for one UniSA Sport grant per calendar year.

The UniSA Sport grants provide sport and recreation clubs with assistance in purchasing new equipment or obtaining coaching services.

Maximum Grant Amount - $5000

E+ Small Grants

Incorporating Leadership and Club Grants, E+ Small Grants will be open at all times and applications submitted by the last Friday of every month will be assessed within a week (where permitted).

Leadership Grants

To provide students with assistance to participate in leadership and professional development opportunities including workshops, presentations and conferences. Funding may be used to assist with registration fees, travel and accommodation.

Maximum Grant Amount - $500

Club and Event Grants

To assist student groups and clubs to run small social or fundraising events or make small equipment purchases.

* Small Grants will be assessed each month and grant applications submitted by 5:00pm on the last Friday of each month will be assessed the following week, wherever possible.
