Maintenance Activities - 2011
Major activities in 2011 will include:
- $700k lift replacements at Reid building (CE) and David Pank building (CW)
- $100k drains replacements and repairs – major stormwater culverts at Mawson Lakes
- $250k ongoing Building Management System updates
- $400k High Voltage electrical reticulation upgrade at Mawson Lakes
- $1.4mil roads upgrade at Mawson Lakes
- Ongoing technical oversight of MM at Mawson Lakes and of the Learning Hub at City West
- $750k building services upgrade to the Data Centre at Mawson Lakes
- Wetland improvements at Mawson Lakes
- Engineering Master Planning at City East, City West campuses
- Installation of electrical consumption meters to all buildings for energy management purposes
- $1.2mil hot and chilled water pump upgrade program at Mawson Lakes over 2 years
- Contracting out of services for lifts maintenance, automatic doors maintenance, emergency generators, fume cupboards certification and pest control
- Assuming control on completion of the defects liability period of building V at Mawson Lakes
- Management of the annual $7.5mil recurrent maintenance program
- Management of the $6.2mil electricity, gas and water consumption
