External Hire of Facilities

The University of South Australia via the Facilities Management  Unit  can offer a wide range of facilities on each of it’s campuses for hire to external groups when the facilities are not required to support the main purpose and operations of the University.

 

UniSA comprises 4 campuses, City East and City West campuses which are both located within the CBD and are within walking distance of each other, Magill campus located 7 kilometres east of the City and on the verge of the Adelaide Hills, and Mawson Lakes campus located 13 kilometres north of the city.

 

Facilities available for hire include Lecture Theatres, Tutorial Rooms, Case Study and breakout rooms, Exhibition space, Conference/Meeting Rooms, Drama Theatre and Sporting Facilities.  These facilities are  practical, flexible and multipurpose and can accommodate your next Corporate Meeting, Conference, Training Session, theatrical production or exhibition. 

As a teaching and learning institution, and to meet the needs of an ever changing society, our rooms are constantly upgraded with the most modern and user-friendly audio visual technology available which suitable for a wide range of needs. This includes:

  • Dual Globe Overhead Projectors
  • Televisions and VCR units
  • DVD units
  • Computers
  • Ceiling Mounted Data Projectors
  • Slide Projectors
  • Projection Screens
  • Whiteboards
  • Microphone, Speaker and Stand
  • Electronic Whiteboard
  • Although each campus offers a similar range of facilities for hire, facilities unique to each campus are also available. These unique facilities include the “Hartley Playhouse” (Magill )which can seat up to 250 people for theatrical performances, concerts or seminars and the Allan Scott Lecture Theatre (City West) which has a capacity for 400.

    Hire fees are dependant on the type of room and equipment required. Special rates apply to educational institutions and negotiated rates with not-for-profit organisations. Please enquire about any other special rates on offer.
