Winner of the Australian Stone Architectural Awards for Best Restoration Project

The University of South Austalia's Building V - Mawson Institute at Mawson Lakes Campus has been awarded a 5 Star Green Star - Education Designs v1 Certified rating, which represents 'Australian Excellence' in environmentally sustainable design/construction. Building V - Mawson Institute is the first laboratory intensive building to achieve a 5 Star Green Star rating in South Australia in 2011.

The MM Building is intended to be a catalyst for innovative learning and teaching and high quality research in the materials and minerals science and engineering hub located at Mawson Lakes.

HERITAGE Commendation Brookman Building Conservation Works - Grieve Gillett.
The Brookman Building was erected in 1903 to accommodate the South Australian School of Mines and Industries. The building now provides the focus for the City East Campus of the University of South Australia.
